Choices abound when it comes to office
shredders but the Intimus 602 Strip Cut is one to take a closer look
at. This device is designed for use in larger organizations as a
department shredder shared by multiple users. Automatic features make
it easy to use while high capacities keep up with the heavy duty
shredding needs of any office. Let's take a closer look at the 602

Strengths:

• The design of this shredder is both functional and
  user-friendly. A compact shelf offers storage for paper or other
  items and folds flat against the front of the machine for
  accessibility. Operation is fully automatic with visual indicators to
  display the machine's status. This device is also rated for
  dust-free operation to cut down on corrosion, not to mention less
  cleaning.
• The hardened steel blades are powered by a
  maintenance-free motor offering two fantastic features. First, it
  is designed for continuous run. Unlike most smaller

Weaknesses:

• This is one hefty piece of office equipment,
  weighing in at 132 pounds when empty. Even so, movement shouldn't
  be a problem thanks to the casters mounted on the bottom. We
  don't think you will find this to be much of an inconvenience.
• Even though the blades produce illegible strips, they still
  only rate a level 2 security. This keeps generic office
  documents out of the wrong hands. However, if your business has a
  higher volume of classified material to dispose of, you may be
  more interested in either a higher security version of this model
  or one of Intimus' high security shredders.

Clearly from
the many strengths the 602 Strip Cut Shredder by Intimus is capable of
accommodating the heavy duty shredding needs of any office. Items are
